You know, Cantha has been part of Guild Wars lore since the beginning.

The Guild Hall salesman is even from Cantha.

Funny thing is though, That was made probably way before Chapter 2 got into serious work, before they decided Cantha will lbe like Guild War's Asian country.

So the Canthan Guild Hall guy has the "original concept" of a Canthan person - He looks ...Italian almost, in strange robes.

They never updated him to be Asian.

IMO he looks quite asian, and very different from every other Prophecies npc.
Anyway, Cantha was decided to be Asian style very long ago, at the launch of GW - Proof: see Xunlai Agent's model - clearly asian, and it was known back then that they come from Cantha aswell.

The Canthan Guild Hall salesman is NOT modeled the same as Canthan's in Factions...Its nowhere near Canthan model, or even any asian model IMO.

I'll have to stare at an Agent cause I've never really looked at their mode.
